Many people find themselves looking for ways to support their nervous system between sessions, or even outside of therapy altogether.

If you have been feeling overwhelmed, stuck in shutdown, or unsure how to shift patterns on your own, you are not alone. These experiences often reflect how the nervous system has learned to respond to stress over time.

Counselling work often opens important awareness, insight, and change. Between sessions, some people find it helpful to have gentle educational resources that support nervous-system awareness and self-listening in everyday life.

Dana Simard offers optional, self-guided learning designed to complement counselling, not replace it. These resources are educational in nature and can be explored at your own pace, with choice and flexibility built in.

The Embody: Your Resilient Life course is a self-paced, nervous-system-informed program that explores physiology, stress, regulation, and resilience through a polyvagal and somatic lens.
It is designed to be engaged with at your own pace, and can be used alongside counselling or other forms of support.

If you are curious, you are welcome to begin with a free introductory module, which offers a sense of the pace, tone, and approach. There is no obligation to continue, and nothing to complete.
​
These resources are offered as supportive education, not therapy. You're always encouraged to check in with what feels appropriate for you and to bring any questions or reflections back into your counselling sessions if you wish.
